Pharmacosmos Chief Medical Officer appointed Adjunct Professor

Vice President, Chief Medical Officer Lars Lykke Thomsen, Ph.D., Dr.Med., has been appointed Adjunct Professor at Aalborg University's Faculty of Medicine.

"The appointment is a great honour and recognition of Lars Lykke Thomsen's important work. His persistent efforts to research new treatment areas of iron deficiency is of great importance, not only to patients in need of treatment, but also to Pharmacosmos," says CEO Lars Christensen, MD.

On behalf of Pharmacosmos Lars Lykke Thomsen began research collaboration with Professor Dr. Med. Torben Moos from Aalborg University in 2011. The collaboration aims to elucidate the effect of iron deficiency and treatment thereof on foetal brain development in a translational animal experimental model.
