Deadline: May 24, 2024 Ambitious Project Manager to lead key strategic projects

Are you an experienced Project Manager motivated by making a difference? Then look no further – Pharmacosmos is looking for a Project Manager who can solve complex problems across our value chain and deliver impact to the organisation. The perfect candidate possesses project leadership abilities, analytical skills, and adeptness in engaging with multiple stakeholders. If you identify with these qualities, don't hesitate to apply now

your role

As Project Manager, you will become a key member of a small project management team in Pharmacosmos. You will be allocated to important strategic projects that you will lead and drive to completion to the satisfaction of all involved stakeholders using your existing toolbox and competencies for managing projects. As Pharmacosmos is growing, we are increasingly in need of high quality in project management and execution, and the Project Manager is a shared resource typically leading two to five projects in parallel. The projects will vary in scale, complexity and nature, and will serve different project sponsors within such different areas as the CEO office, Clinical R&D, Supply Chain, Finance or HR. Among other, digitalization or IT system implementation projects are among the projects that you will lead.

Your involvement in a project may start at different stages, often from the initial assessment of needs and requirements and first definition of the business case. You will bring an open problem-solving mindset and partake in the analysis of the situation and solution evaluations. In projects that require acquisition of services or products from external vendors, you will lead the request for proposal process and establish vendor response comparisons for selection. You will not solely manage projects – planning activities, organizing meetings –, rather you will lead projects and hold project execution tasks yourself as a team member. This is essential for your success. Your role in a project will conclude once it has been thoroughly implemented and reported. In certain cases, you may retain an operational role in processes/systems that you have been part of implementing.

As part of leading a project, you will establish a relevant project organization, governance, and reporting frequency. You will manage stakeholder engagement, run status meetings, ensure roles and responsibilities are clear to all project team members and give all involved parties the optimal conditions for succeeding with their project elements. In this way, we will rely on your professional and respectful approach to win the acknowledgment of all of the project stakeholders you serve.

The role requires good business acumen on top of good project management skills and experience. The Project Manager will be part of the Strategic Projects and Systems department and will report directly to the Director of this department.
