You will be responsible for medical affairs activities related to Monofer® in Denmark. More than 60 % of the working hours are expected to be spent in the field, meeting customers, opinion leaders and team members.
The local team in Denmark comprises – in addition to the incumbent - one Business Manager (sales person), a Lead Nurse Advisor and the Nordic Medical Project Manager.

Key tasks

  • Work closely as a team with the Business Manager, the Lead Nurse Advisor and the Nordic Medical Project Manager in Denmark
  • Work closely as a team with the other MSLs and the Medical Project Manager in the Nordics
  • Work with medical projects in teams, both locally in Denmark and across the borders in the Nordics
  • Provide medical and scientific support and training to the Business Manager and the Lead Nurse Advisor in Denmark
  • Provide medical support to market access activities
  • Provide medical information services, including literature surveillance
  • Provide medical/legal review of promotional materials/activities to ensure compliance with local code of conduct
  • Manage KOL’s, including mapping and development of these in relevant disease areas such as surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology and nephrology
  • Initiate and manage expert meetings, round the table meetings and advisory boards
  • Plan and complete scientific meetings including development of agendas, content, and speakers training
  • Attend international scientific meetings and congresses with the aim of gaining new medical data
  • Work towards national and regional medical committees and recommendation lists
  • Provide medical and scientific support to local clinical trials
  • Up to 40 days of travelling (staying overnight) per year is expected


M.Sc. in i.a. medicine, pharmacy; nurse or other relevant discipline in natural sciences is preferred, depending on subsequent training and experience.

Further you have at least two years of experience from a medical affairs position or similar, science driven role within the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience and network within the area of cardiology and/or gastroenterology and/or surgery is an advantage.

Fluency in Danish and excellent skills in English, written and spoken, is a requirement.
