Improving treatment of iron deficiency anaemia
Pharmacosmos' research activities focus on improving treatment
of iron deficiency anemia in humans and animals.
As part of our ongoing clinical programme, Pharmacosmos has
currently initiated three international clinical trials in patients
suffering from iron deficiency anaemia within the therapeutic
areas:
- Non Dialysis Dependent Chronic Kidney Disease (NDD-CKD)
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- Chemotherapy Induced Anaemia (CIA)
Our ongoing clinical programme aims to expand the clinical
documentation of the safety and efficacy of
Monofer® (iron isomaltoside 1000) as a treatment for iron
deficiency anaemia within nephrology, oncology and
gastroenterology.
