GPC standards
GPC standards from Pharmacosmos are uniquely characterized
Dextran GPC standards for calibration of GPC chromatography
columns.
GPC chromatography is an important analytical method for
determination of molecular weight distribution of biopolymers.
Pharmacosmos' Dextran GPC standards are used to develop accurate
calibration curves within a molecular weight range from 1,000 to
800,000 Daltons.
The GPC standards provide a collection of 10 individual GPC
standards for calibration curve development. Pharmacosmos' GPC
standards are available as individual GPC standards or as complete
GPC standards kit containing all individual standards.
The Dextran GPC standards are provided with a complete
specification of characteristic parameters, which include:
- Peak average molecular weight, Mp
- Number average molecular weight, Mn
- Weight average molecular weight, Mw
- Polydispersity, D
- Viscosity, |η|
The GPC standards are characterized by application of efficient
and precise experimental methods such as Low Angel Laser Light
Scattering (LALLS), Reducing End Group Titration (EGT), Gel
Permeation Chromatography (GPC) and Viscosity Measurement at 25°C
(Visc.).
