Tuesday 21 June 2011 the Board of Directors and General
Assembly at Pharamacosmos A/S approved the company's Annual Report
for 2010/11.
The annual report shows a net profit of 18.6 million DKK,
compared to a profit after tax for 2009/10 at 16.9 million DKK.The
balance as of 30th April 2011 was 610.8 million DKK and the equity
at 342.3 million DKK.
Taking into account the number of activities initiated as well
as the investments made in the past fiscal year the Board considers
the annual result to be satisfactory.
Among the activities is an increased focus on the company's
largest and fastest growing area, pharmaceuticals for human use:
Pharmacosmos has commenced sales of the newly developed Monofer® in
several European countries, has signed a partnership agreement in
China, and initiated clinical studies in the USA.
In the veterinary sector, the company in the early spring 2011
achieved US-registration of its important and leading veterinary
drugs Uniferon ® 20% and Uniferon ® 10%. The company hence now
supplies iron supplement for piglets in the USA, in Europe, and in
Asia.
